I count
myself amongst the 80-85% of the population who suffer from back
pain. Not content to put up with my back pain I commenced my formal
studies in the early 1990s commencing with Myotherapy and various
soft tissue therapy approaches.
During the years 1995-1999 I completed my formal training in
Osteopathy culminating in receiving my Masters degree and attracting
two scholarships for osteopathic research along the way.
Since my
university days I have had the opportunity to train with many
renowed therapists such as: Jose Kunzler, an osteopath and
physiotherapist who is an expert in low leverage, gentle spinal
manipulation: Dr Robert Goodrun, an osteopath and physiotherapist,
who is an innovator in incorporating osteopathic manipulation with
the chiropractic drop table approach: Sarah Key, an international
author and physiotherapist, who teaches her unique form of spinal
mobilisation: Dr Thomas Zudrell, International Dorn Method teacher,
and last but not least, Paul Davies, a naturopath who has created a
soft tissue approach drawing on his experiences with the best of
Australian muscle manipulators.
